Content Manager

Converged Technology Professionals is a B2B technology company that specializes in the consultation, implementation and support of cloud communications and collaboration solutions for businesses and contact centers. Our dedication to delivering the highest level of excellence, expertise, and customer satisfaction has set us apart from our competitors in the industry.  

Our company is 100% remote and is growing.  We are looking to build out our content marketing team to tackle the wide variety of content needs we have as we continue expansion.

We are looking for an experienced and creative content manager who knows how to work with in house and freelance writers to coordinate projects and see them through from start to finish on time, making sure pieces are written to convey the proper messaging and tone specified.   

This position is very hands on and will require you to also contribute as a writer alongside managing content projects.   Being able to proof content for grammatical and punctuational correctness is a MUST.

This role requires a positive can-do attitude, even when under pressure to meet deadlines and goals.   Your attention to detail and thoroughness is also extremely important.

The candidate should have a love for words and be skilled at effectively communicating to the reader through the target persona’s perspective.

Title: Content Writing Manager

Reports to:  Director of Marketing

Employment Type:   Open to:  Independent Contractor; Full Time Employee; or Freelance.

Pay:  Range depends on experience.

Responsibilities:

This role has a broad range of responsibilities.

  • Build and manage content calendar
  • Participate in our content strategy initiative meetings
  • Study and know our brand, messaging and services we provide
  • Manage and assist with the production of high-quality content that expresses our unique voice and branding
  • Deliver a cohesive message through all channels and content types to stay on message
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others
  • Manage our SEO strategy, both on-site and off-site including PPC
  • Manage website content creation for landing pages, videos and digital campaigns, even if that means pitching in and assisting with the writing to help get it done.
  • Contribute to developing an efficient team workflow process for content management.
  • Able to work independently with confidence, but with an awareness of and commitment to working together as a group.
  • Work with external freelancers and vendors to supplement your own efforts, including editing, and keeping projects on-track

Basic Qualifications:

The most important qualification is the teachable attitude that is excited to work with a small and growing company that has BIG goals!  

  • 4+ years of experience in content marketing or content strategy/management role
  • B2B marketing and content creation and management experience in tech or at an agency
  • Experience with email drip and nurture campaigns helpful
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio that shows strong strategic and conceptual execution applied across a variety of projects including web, digital, and/or video.
  • Proven experience in cross-team collaboration, working across an organization as an effective project manager
  • Extreme attention to detail and incredible copy-editing skills
  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
  • Experience with SEO and marketing technology to drive organic traffic

Ideal to have:

  • Experience in a technical/communications field
  • Graphic design skills a plus

We are looking for an experienced and creative content writer who has a love for words and effective communication skills, including a passion for the art of story-telling.

Cloud Implementation Specialist 

We are seeking a Cloud Implementation Specialist to join our team. In this position you will serve as the "Bridge Between" us, our customer, and Ring Central, our hosted provider.  You will become fully versed in every aspect of the unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solutions that we offer.  Ultimately, you will deliver these solutions to our customers. 

We are highly flexible on experience and training. Finding an individual who is passionate, accurate, dedicated and dynamic is our goal.  A Cloud Implementation Specialist can come from a variety of call center, project management, sales and/or customer service backgrounds. What they all share is a passion for customer service and delivering excellence every day.

Hours:  8:30am to 5pm. This is a full time position.

Location: Remote Office based in Metro Milwaukee or Greater Chicago

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Liaison between Converged, the Customer and RingCentral
  • Provide Expertise, Consultation and Advisement to customers on their journey to cloud communications
  • Design and Document new RingCentral UCaaS systems
  • Provide end user training on RingCentral IP Phones and related software packages.
  • Assist with First Day of Business Go Live Support
  • Monthly check-ins with customer to evangelize both Converged and Ring Central products and services
  • Special Professional Services projects for clients
  • On-Going Account Management

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Sales, Project Management or Software Training
  • College Bachelors Degree or better.
  • 4+ years experience using a PC with various software packages.
  • Assertive, energetic, great attitude, dedication to excellence, ability and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Ability to work early and late when scheduled in advance

Other Desirable Skills

I.T. Engineer

Hours: 8am to 5pm. This is a full-time position.

Location: Pewaukee, WI

We are seeking a technology minded individual to join our Operations team. In this position you will serve as a member of the engineering team dedicated to serving our customers. You will be responsible for the installation, service and support of customer I.T. and network systems.  Finding an individual who is passionate, accurate, dedicated and dynamic is our goal. Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1& Tier 2 support on a daily basis.
  • Perform all aspects of day to day customer system maintenance.
  • Perform upgrades on customer systems.
  • Perform new system programming per design documentation.
  • Perform cutovers (basic low voltage wiring) at customer locations to new Unified Communications systems.
  • Maintain customer networks.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years work experience in I.T., networking related job.
  • Mid to Advanced level understanding of LAN/WAN/WiFi.
  • Mid to Advanced level understanding of VMware.
  • Advanced understanding of Layer 3 static routing and VLANs.
  • Advanced understanding of Windows Server administration.
  • Great attitude, dedication to excellence, ability and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel (WI/IL/IN) 25% of the time.
  • Ability to work early and late when scheduled in advance.

  • SIP or other VOIP experience.
  • Wireshark experience.
