Content Writer

We’re looking for an experienced writer to join our marketing team whose comfort zone is behind a keyboard typing away. You’ll become a subject matter expert on very interesting topics and technologies in the B2B IT professional services and unified communications market. We’ll help train where needed, so don’t let terms like UCaaS and CCaaS intimidate you!

This is a new 100% (USA-Based) remote role that is critical to the ongoing growth of our marketing efforts in that support our lead gen and brand awareness initiatives. You’ll work with an amazing team and expected to work well with minimal oversight. You’ll be reviewed on your ability to meet deadlines for deliverables, and produce excellent top-notch quality materials that meet our high standards.

We will need to see samples of some of your content pieces you have written.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce ongoing content assets such as Whitepapers/ebooks, and blogs
  • Occasional email marketing content
  • Meet deadlines!
  • Create the content for customer success stories, participate in the interview process
  • Assist with Lead-gen materials as needed

Must Haves & Abilities

  • Proven professional writing experience
  • Have a natural eye for detail (critical for proofing your own work)
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
  • Take complex concepts and topics and turn them into easy-to-read materials for the reader
  • Excellent at researching new topics.
  • Able to create content outlines for approval once you get more familiar with our business
  • Ability to multi-task – okay we know that this can be difficult for writers who need to focus on their writing, but sometimes you may need to switch from one project to another depending on available resources. We’re not a large corporation so being willing to help out a fellow team member when needed is expected… and appreciated!
  • Positive attitude! There’s no room for negativity here. When problems or challenges arise we address them as a team and work together to get the job done.

Skills that would be great for you to already have, but not a deal breaker

  • Writing for a technology company
  • An understanding or experience working with SEO concepts (keyword research, internal linking).
  • Experience working in B2B environments
  • Experience working in a small business environment

Title: Content Writer

Employment Type:   This position is hourly full-time 40 hours.

Pay:   Depends on experience, expectations are $40,000 - $65,000.

Responsibilities:

This role has a broad range of responsibilities.

  • Produce high-quality content that expresses our unique voice and branding.
  • Create a cohesive message through all channels and content types to stay on message
  • Contribute to developing an efficient team workflow process for content management.
  • Able to work independently with confidence, but with an awareness of and commitment to working together as a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to incorporate SEO practices into content writing
  • Gain a deep knowledge of our products and services to create compelling, audience-centric stories that resonate with the target persona.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of B2B marketing and content creation experience in tech or at an agency
  • A portfolio that shows strong strategic and conceptual execution applied across a variety of projects including web, digital, and/or video.
  • Content strategy experience a plus
  • Proven experience in cross-team collaboration, working across an organization as an effective project manager
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Extreme attention to detail and incredible copy-editing skills
  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
  • An understanding of SEO keyword research and Internal Linking

Ideal to have:

  • Experience in a technical/communications field
  • Experience with Lead-Gen marketing campaigns

ShoreTel/Mitel Technical Account Manager

Hours: 8am to 5pm. This is a full-time position.

Location: Remote Office based ideally in Pacific Time Zone (West Coast)

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our team. In this position you will serve as the "Bridge Between" us, our customer, and ShoreTel/Mitel, our on premise provider.  You will become fully versed in every aspect of the unified communications as a service solutions that we offer.  Ultimately, you will deliver these solutions and advisement to our customers.

We are highly flexible on experience and training. Finding an individual who is passionate, accurate, dedicated and dynamic is our goal.  A Technical Account Manager can come from a variety of call center, project management, sales and/or customer service backgrounds. What they all share is a passion for customer service and delivering excellence every day.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Liaison between Converged, the Customer and ShoreTel/Mitel
  • Provide Expertise, Consultation and Advisement to customers on their journey to cloud communications
  • Design and Document new ShoreTel/Mitel systems
  • Assist with First Day of Business Go Live Support
  • Monthly check-ins with customer to evangelize both Converged and industry leading products.
  • Special Professional Services projects for clients
  • On-Going Account Management
  • Assist clients on understanding the changing landscape and assisting the sales team in an sales engineering capacity as it relates to ShoreTel/Mitel.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Sales, Project Management or Sales Engineering specific to Mitel/ShoreTel.
  • College Bachelors Degree or better.
  • 4+ years experience using a PC with various software packages.
  • Assertive, energetic, great attitude, dedication to excellence, ability and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time post the pandemic
  • Ability to work early and late when scheduled in advance

  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Experience with telephony systems highly desirable.
  • Quick, accurate typing ability; comfortable maneuvering through Windows and web based applications and enjoys learning new technology
  • Excellent communication skills including, articulation, grammar and persuasion, customer service, and interpersonal skills required.

Cloud Implementation Specialist 

We are seeking a Cloud Implementation Specialist to join our team. In this position you will serve as the "Bridge Between" us, our customer, and Ring Central, our hosted provider.  You will become fully versed in every aspect of the unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solutions that we offer.  Ultimately, you will deliver these solutions to our customers. 

We are highly flexible on experience and training. Finding an individual who is passionate, accurate, dedicated and dynamic is our goal.  A Cloud Implementation Specialist can come from a variety of call center, project management, sales and/or customer service backgrounds. What they all share is a passion for customer service and delivering excellence every day.

Hours:  8:30am to 5pm. This is a full time position.

Location: Remote Office based in Metro Milwaukee or Greater Chicago

  • Provide Expertise, Consultation and Advisement to customers on their journey to cloud communications
  • Design and Document new RingCentral UCaaS systems
  • Provide end user training on RingCentral IP Phones and related software packages.
  • Assist with First Day of Business Go Live Support
  • Monthly check-ins with customer to evangelize both Converged and Ring Central products and services
